 New NBO Training Centre

The new Italy NBO Training Centre is in the process of being established at the Meyer Hospital in Florence under the direction of Gherardo Rapisardi.  The new NBO trainers are Gherardo Rapisardi, Maria Luce Cioni and Viola Fortini.

Over the years, the Brazelton Site in Florence, under the direction of Gherardo Rapisardi, continues to provide interdisciplinary training “in a family-centered neurodevelopmental approach, based on the Brazelton approach, to primary care and health care specialists” - 3 courses for 115 professionals. The Training team consists of Gherardo Rapisardi, Adrienne Davidson, Maria Luce Cioni, Laura Boroni, Silvia Paoli and Viola Fortini. Touchpoints personnel include Luca Migliaccio and Fabia Banella. Almost 10,000 participants have taken part in over 264 courses since the Brazelton Centre in Florence was established in 1996. Drs. Gherardo and Sara Rapisardi and Berry Brazelton, 1999 During 2019 we worked to set up the first NBO Italian Training Site at Anna Meyer Hospital in Florence. The first training course will be held at the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Meyer, Florence on March 10-11th 2020, with the participation of Kevin Nugent. Three more NBO courses are programmed during 2020. The new NBO training faculty will consist of Gherardo Rapisardi, Maria Luce Cioni, and Viola Fortini.
